| A range of high performance coatings for aerospace and defence applications are offered for demanding applications. All paints are supplied with the certificate of conformance to relevant standards (DEF, BSX, MIL and OEMs like Rolls Royce, P&W, GE). These are low VOC paints and are in conformance with the latest environmental standards. |
AERO ENGINES AND GAS TURBINES
High Temperature Resistant Sacrificial Aluminium Coatings (IP 9183 - IPCOTE) for compressor blades, vanes, turbine discs, and combustion chamber inner and outer casings of turbine engines. It is also used as a cadmium replacement on under carriages and fasteners. Alternative to Sermetal W.
High temperature inorganic sealing coating (IP 9184- IPSEAL) applied on Ipcote to enhance its performance and life. IP 9144 (SMOOTHSEAL) an exceedingly thin (3-4 microns) coating, latest in the range, provides ultra smooth and hard surface thus improving air flow.
Air drying touch up paints (IP 9138) for Ipcote and other coatings for operating temperatures upto 500 °C.
Diffusion coating (IP 1041- IPAL) for high temperature corrosion protection and excellent for oxidation and sulphidation protection. Particularly used for turbine blades and nozzle guide vanes of industrial turbines.
Polyimide Coatings (PL 163 clear and PL 165 aluminium loaded) for engine parts exposed to operating temperatures around 300 °C.
Dry film lubricants (PL 198/IP 9136 Graphite based and PL 237 Molybdenum based) to resist fretting and corrosion at high temperatures upto 500 °C. |

ACCESSORIES – GEAR BOX, LANDING GEAR ETC
Rockhard range of coatings which have proved to be one of the best protective coatings for metals to erosion, corrosion including salt water and chemical resistance at elevated temperature are most successfully used for magnesium alloy gear boxes and components made of aluminium, steel and titanium.
It meets DTD 5562 and is approved by Rolls Royce, Sikorsky, Pratt & Whitney, Honeywell, GE, McDonnel Douglas, Westland etc. |

PRIMER CUM FILLER FOR COMPOSITES OF AIRCRAFT
We offer a unique range of light weight chromate free Primer cum Filler (50015 and 50019) specially developed for all types of composites (carbon, glass and Kevlar) structures. This product is designed to flow and fill up pinholes inherently present in the composites and also level the matty texture which provides an ideal surface for further painting. |

50019 is a high build primer cum filler, can build upto 500 microns by spraying, thus minimizing the need for manual application of knifing putty. The ultra low density (0.95 g/cc) also results in substantial weight saving.
The paints meet Def 80-216 standard and are also approved by HAL India. |
